Happy New Year!

I can't believe the holidays are over already. But one of my New Year's resolutions was to jump into the blogosphere, so he
re goes.

I'm a freelance writer and owner of An Enchanted Letter TM, through which I offer fully personalized Letters from Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and the Christmas Angel. I've also written the book Everything You Need To Start Your Own Santa Letter Business, as well as Write Your Own Personalized Holiday Letters, available from Lulu Press.

I'm also thrilled to announce my essay "System Recovery" is included in the new Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Resolution, fittingly enough. (It just came out. Hooray!)

I'm the type who hates to see the holidays end. The type who likes to leave the holiday decorations up well into January, and would probably leave the Christmas tree up till July. One of my favorite movies of all time is "Holiday Inn."

So I got to thinking, well, there are other holidays all throughout the year, why limit myself to Easter and Christmas? The party doesn't have to end, right? So, my goal is to post links and ideas for things to do with kids for holidays year-round.

As a writer, I love books, have always loved books, devoured books as a kid. (That's why I include a book with every letter.) So, in the spirit of holidays that never end--why can't it be Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/etc. all year long?--here's the link to a FREE ebook I compiled of classic holiday stories for children. The "pretty" version can be found at lulu.com. You can also find the no-frills pdf version at An Enchanted Letter.

Have a fantastic New Year!
